Shahid Kapoor congratulates Kiara Advani on completing 8 years in Kabir Singh reference films

Kiara Advani is one of the most sought after actresses of the country today. With several hits to his credit, the star has fans across all languages and film industries. On June 13, the actress, who made her debut with the 2014 film Fugly, completed eight years in the industry. On the occasion, Kiara Advani penned a heartfelt note on her journey so far. In it, he wrote, “June 13! The day I stepped into this magical world of filmmaking. 8 years more counting… Mere Rainbow Mere Gajar Nahi. My heart is filled with gratitude.”
The note pertains to a video promoting her upcoming film Jagjag Jio with her co-star Varun Dhawan. After the promotion, Kiara is also seen talking to her fans over a video call. Describing how his day went, he said: “My day started with my amazing team, who surprised me with a super warm virtual chat with their fan clubs and ended with Varun Dhawan, who Reminds me why I decided to be a part of it. This chaotic yet magnetic industry. I’m probably 8 years old today but I have a lifetime to entertain. #Wait for it. I want to make you proud I promise.”
While the post has received a lot of love from her fans and well wishers, the sweetest message came from her former co-star Shahid Kapoor. He said, ‘Congratulations Preeti. Many more are to come,” referring to the actress named after her character in Kabir Singh, her blockbuster 2019 film.
Varun Dhawan replied to the post with three star emojis.
Apart from the positive buzz around Jugjug Jio, Kiara Advani is also enjoying all the love she is getting from her last release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film, which crossed the 150 crore mark last week, stars Kiara alongside Tabu and Kartik Aaryan.
The actress recently also shared a video of her song Ami J Tomar from the film and said, “This movie, this song, love. I can’t thank you all enough for giving so much love to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Amy. Jay Tomar always.”
Tagging her team and the cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kiara Advani said, “Thank you to my wonderful team.
