Shahid Kapoor’s half-sister Sana Kapoor to marry Mayank Pahwa, wedding celebrations begin: Video
New Delhi: Actor Shahid Kapoor’s half-sister Sana Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with actor couple Seema and Manoj Pahwa’s son Mayank on Wednesday (March 2). Sana made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Shaandaar’ (2015) starring her brother Shahid and father Pankaj Kapur. Actress Alia Bhatt was the female lead in the film.
Naseeruddin Shah’s son Viaan Shah shared a glimpse of Sanah’s wedding festivities on Instagram. “Congratulations ssss @sanahkapur15 @mayankpahwa_13 Love u baa ko very proud sanu would have been congrats,” Viaan wrote along with a video enjoying Sanah and Mayank’s drum beats.
Viaan also shared a video of her parents Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah blessing Sana.
In the video, Sana is seen wearing a magenta pink lehenga and Mayank is wearing an olive green kurta pajama set.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, the wedding is taking place in Mahabaleshwar.
“The wedding is taking place in Mahabaleshwar and the family has already reached the venue. While the functions of Mehndi and Sangeet are taking place today, the wedding is fixed tomorrow. It is an intimate ceremony which they have been planning for a while: a source told Pinkvilla.
Reportedly, Pahwa and Kapoor have been family friends for many years. The couple got engaged months ago and are set to tie the knot in an intimate ceremony with close family and friends.
Sana made her Bollywood debut with Shaandaar (2015). The film starred his brother Shahid and father Pankaj Kapur. The film also starred actress Alia Bhatt.
Sanah and Shahid have the same father Pankaj Kapur. After getting divorced from Shahid’s mother Neelima Azeem, Pankaj married actress Supriya Pahak. Shahid also has a half-brother Ishaan Khatter.
Ishaan is his brother from mother Neelima’s second marriage to actor Rajesh Khattar.
