Shane Warne passes away: Shilpa Shetty mourns the death of cricketer, says ‘Legends live on’

NEW DELHI: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty on Friday (March 4) condoled the demise of Australian spinner Shane Warne. The actress shared a post in her tribute on social media, writing, ‘Legends live on’.

Shane Warne, undisputed one of the all-time greats of the game who redefined spin bowling, died of a suspected heart attack in Thailand, according to a statement from his management. He was 52 years old.
Warne’s management issued a brief statement to Australian media saying that he had died in Koh Samui, Thailand. “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of the medical staff, could not be revived,” said the statement made by various media outlets here.
“The family requests confidentiality at this time and will provide further details in due course.”
An iconic name in international cricket, Warne has played 145 Tests for Australia since making his debut in 1992, taking 708 wickets with his leg-spin.
In his 194 ODI matches, Warne took 293 wickets.
