Shruti Haasan tests positive for COVID-19


Actress Shruti Haasan on Sunday updated her social media followers that she has tested positive for COVID-19.

Taking to his Instagram handle, the actor shared a picture which read, “Hello everyone! A quick not so funny update. Despite all the safety measures I have tested positive for COVID. I have recovered and am coming back.” Can’t wait. Very soon! Thanks and see you soon cutie.”

Fans and fellow members of the film industry poured soon-to-be-get-well-soon messages in the comments section.

Director Sidharth Malhotra wrote, “Lots of love and TC Shruti you will be back and healthy soon.”

“Hey!!! Get well soon love!! Hugs and strength to you,” shouted singer Sophie Choudry.

Meanwhile, Shruti’s web series ‘Bestseller’ was released on 18 February on Amazon Prime Video. He also has a thriller film named ‘Saalar’.
