Mumbai: Actor Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhant Kapoor has shared a photo of actor DJ Siddhant Kapoor with a woman on a flight after he was released on bail in a drug case. He added a red heart, folded hands and evil eye talisman emojis to the Instagram picture in which he can be seen sitting with the girl on the plane. Both were wearing face masks. This is the first post of Siddhant, who was recently arrested in Bangalore on a charge of drug abuse.

But now he seems to have deleted that image. Siddhant was arrested along with four others on Sunday night. Bangalore City Police Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Bhimashankar S Gulet said, “He took drugs in Siddhant Kapoor’s medical scenes. We have already arrested him and are following the procedure. We will send him to court custody.”

On a tip-off, police raided the venue of a party at a hotel on MG Road on Sunday night. “The party was going on last night and we got information that they had taken drugs. We searched and arrested 35 people. No drugs were found on them but we found nearby MDMA and cannabis disposal. We will examine the CCTV. Who disposed of it, DCP Gulet said.

Samples of individuals suspected of drug use were sent for clinical examination, and Siddhant’s sample turned out to be positive in six. Police said it was not clear if they had taken drugs at the hotel or had come to the party with drugs outside.
