New Delhi: Bollywood actor and Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddhant Kapoor has been released on station bail after being arrested on Monday following medical reports confirming his drug use.
The news caused a great stir among the fans and everywhere.
Writer-director Sarim Momin, who responded to this, had his views on Siddhant while speaking to a leading daily. He clearly refused to accept that the actor could do anything like that.
Speaking to ETimes, he shared, “Once I was discussing a character with him (I cast him) and we brainwashed him about the character. That character had to be a rock star character, he was known as’ superior ‘.’ “Do not show my character as an unnecessary drug addict. It does not send good news, sir,” said Siddhant.
Sarim added, “As a director I have never experienced anything I read about ideology with him today. He is the most professional and complete man I have ever known.”
Sarim, who directed him in two unreleased films, called him a real man and refused to show him a drug-using character in the film because it would send the wrong message to the audience.
