He said, “The train is full of Indians. Sonu Sood is guiding us every moment. He worked day and night (to help the stranded Indian citizens).”
The woman’s praise for the actor came at a time when the Indian government launched “Operation Ganga” to rescue Indians stranded in Ukraine amid Russian aggression and deputed four Union ministers to oversee the evacuation from Eastern Europe.
In his tweet, the Congress leader also congratulated Sood and his team for their work.
Sood had earlier come in for praise when he helped scores of migrant laborers who were trying to return to their home states in 2020 during the coronavirus-induced lockdown.
