Non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, are built on Polygon’s proof-of-stake blockchain. Starbucks said on Monday that its US members will be able to earn and buy digital collectible tickets in the form of non-fungible tokens, or NFTs. Each collectible digital stamp, called a “Starbucks Odyssey”, will have valid ownership on the blockchain and have a point value based on its rarity. Members’ points will increase as they collect more stamps, giving them access to special activities.
