The fact that Surya hit 68 sixes in 2022 tells you how dangerous he was with the bat in T20Is. 68 sixes is the highest number of sixes hit in a single calendar year. He scored two T20 centuries along with 9 fifties.
SKY had a fantastic 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in which he scored three half-centuries in 6 innings and averaged 60 while playing at a ridiculous average of 189.68. His plethora of shots made the great Virat Kohli describe one of his innings as a ‘video-game’.
