Tom Hanks Shout-out From Fans To “Back The F*** Off” After His Wife Almost Pranked: Report
Actor Tom Hanks yelled at a group of fans for “back the f*** off” from wife Rita Wilson, who was nearly knocked over while leaving a restaurant. The incident took place outside New York’s Nobu restaurant on Wednesday night and its video is now going viral on social media.
Mr. Hanks, 65, visited the popular sushi venue with his wife and children. While coming out, surrounded by some security guards, a group of fans surrounded the couple and Ms Wilson nearly lost her leg in the fight, Fox News reports.
The Forrest Gump star quickly jumped into action, separating his wife from a crowded circle of autograph-seeking fans. “My wife? Back f*** off! Knock on my wife?” In the video, an angry actor can be heard saying this.
After this the couple hurriedly moved towards their car and left the place. Page 6 reported that some fans apologized to Mr. Hanks and his family.
Social media users supported Mr Hanks for his action.
“Totally justified. All of you, if your actions are prompting *Tom Hanks* to yell at you, you have made serious mistakes in your life choices,” tweeted one user.
“Good job! Need to help people check each other out. Back off!” Said another.
Mr. Hanks is on tour to promote his upcoming film, Elvis. It has already garnered great reviews and is touted as a major hit for this year.
