Komolika from Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay by Balaji Telefilms, the OG of Indian Television – Urvashi Dholakia is a well-known name today. She has worked hard to make a name for herself in the TV industry and over the years fans associate her most with the character of Komolika.

In her recent interview with Pinkvilla, Urvashi Dholakia recalled the time when she did not have ₹ 1500 to pay her child’s education fee. “I was in my teens. It really stuck with me and it just taught me not to be dependent. Not that I was dependent, but it taught me to be a little more careful. At the time, I was a little hyper, Because you are stuck in that situation where you don’t know what to do,” she told the entertainment portal.

Adding further, Urvashi said, “You think ‘what am I going to do I don’t have Rs 1500 to pay for my child’s education. You feel bad, you feel disappointed, but today When I look back at that time, I feel that I have done well for me.”

She said, “Life gives you a lot of obstacles, but you just have to move on.”

Urvashi entered the field of acting at a young age and acted in several TV shows, including Dekh Bhai Dekh, Shaktimaan, Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli, Tum Bin Jaoon Kahaan, Kahin To Hoga, Betaab Dil Ki Tamanna Hai and Chandrakanta – Ek Mayavi. Contains love story. But it was her portrayal of bong beauty Komolika Majumdar in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’ that made her a household name.
