Sidhu Moosewala's videos light up New York's Times Square on birth anniversary, fans come together to pay tribute


New Delhi: The late rapper-singer Sidhu Mooswala recently paid tribute to his 29th birthday on June 11 in Times Square in New York. Hundreds of his fans gathered at NYC’s iconic building to remember the politician who became a Punjabi singer. The video of the Times Square building is going viral on social media.

His fans were emotional and celebrated the popularity of the Punjabi singer. Huge billboards broadcast Sidhu Mooswala’s songs and they were also seen clicking photos and taking video. At one point, they even showed a photo of the late singer with his mother. Those in the comment section were overwhelmed as they paid tribute to the late artist. One user wrote, “No one can beat our legend.” Another wrote, “Relax in power, myth.”

A 28-year-old rap singer was brutally shot dead by a mob in the afternoon of May 29 in Punjab. On June 11 he will be 29 years old. Sidhu was killed on the day the government removed the security of 424 people, including him. .

Singer Mika Singh, who turned one year old on June 10 last year, has said she will not be celebrating her birthday this year in honor of the tragic deaths of fellow singers Sidhu Moosewala and KK. KK died of a suspicious heart attack after a concert in Kolkata.

Santosh Jadhav, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has been arrested by police as a suspect.

Santosh Jadhav and Navnath Suryavanshi, both from Gujarat, were arrested by Pune police on June 12 and produced in a Pune court. Earlier, Saurav Mahakal, an accomplice of Santosh Jadhav and a suspect in the murder of singer Sidhu Mooswala, was arrested on June 8.

Delhi Police had earlier said that Lawrence Bishnoi, who was the mastermind behind the murder of singer Sidhu Mooswala, is currently in custody and a close associate of the mastermind behind the brutal murder in Mansa, Punjab last month has been arrested.

On June 6, Punjab Police arrested Sandeep Kekra in search of the killers of singer Sidhu Mooswala, who allegedly provided real-time information to 8 sharpshooters about the singer’s movement. Police say Kekra provided clues about the involvement of Lawrence Bishnoi, his brother Anmol and son-in-law Sachin.
