WATCH: Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma groove in unseen behind-the-scenes video from a TV commercial

Virat Kohli is taking a break from cricket after the poor performance of IPL 2022. He and wife Anushka are on leave before the former India captain leaves for England to participate in the 5th rescheduled Test as well as the limited-overs series. But on Friday, Kohli shared a behind the scenes footage of himself and Anushka shooting for a TV commercial. The footage seems to be from a recent TV commercial that they shot together before going on vacation. In the video, Virat has become a Sardar and moments of romance are also being seen. Virat and Anushka can be seen dancing together while having fun on the sets. Not to be forgotten, this star couple is a hot property in the Indian TV commercials market and have appeared together in many commercials before.

Watch the video here:

Kohli had a poor IPL 2022 season, where he scored just 341 runs in 16 matches at a disappointing average of 22.73, which included two fifties. His poor performance with the bat is not a recent phenomenon. He has been carrying on with his poor form for a long time. Kohli’s last international century came in 2019 when he scored a century against Bangladesh in a home Test match. Since then the Indian captain has reached the 70s and 80s but has not been able to convert them into big centuries.

Despite protests from several former cricketers including former India captain Ravi Shastri, who are in the Indian team for the Test, he should take a break and take some time off from cricket to make a strong comeback. However, Kohli has decided that he will aim for the elusive 71st century that he and the fans have been waiting for three years. For now, Kohli is enjoying whatever time he has got between the IPL and his flight to England. His wife Anushka will return to the cinema screens after a long time with a film on cricket, a biopic on the legendary Indian pacer Jhulan Goswami.
