New Delhi: Vicky Kaushal’s father Sham Kaushal, who is a renowned stuntman and action director, recently shared fond memories with Ajay Devgn’s father and late stunt director Veeru Devgan. In a recent interview, he revealed that he worked closely with Veeru Devgan when he was not well versed in stunt work.
He recalled that there were tough times when he could not find any work and struggled to buy food as he roamed the streets hungry. At one such time the late Veeru Devgan offered to take him home and feed him.
He told ETimes, “Ever since I entered the film industry as a stunt man, I have worked with Ajay Devgn. I used to work with his father Veeru Devgan ji. I think when Ajay must have been in 4th-5th standard when I started working together. Veeru ji. They used to live in Santa Cruz at that time. I didn’t know anything about stunt work. To be honest, I was just an assistant with him. was working as is.”
He added, “When Veeru ji passed away, I was shooting in Kochi. I remember all our days together, especially when I was walking on the streets hungry, he took me to his house and fed me. “
