Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who completed 100 days of his second term on Thursday, said his government has done a good job during this period and promised to make Uttarakhand the best state in the country by 2025.
Speaking to reporters while releasing “Vikas Book” (Development Book) titled “100 Days of Development, Dedication and Prayas Ke” on Thursday, Dhami said though 100 days is not a very long time. , but still they have made efforts and have taken measured steps in the right direction.
He tweeted, ‘Today we have completed 100 days in the government and the trust and blessings we are getting from 125 crore people is giving us a new energy to work for the development of the state..’
In another tweet, Dhami assured the people that his government is committed to making Uttarakhand the best state in the country by 2025 and is working with dedication in this direction.
Releasing the development book, Dhami said that his government has taken many important decisions for the welfare of the people in the last 100 days. “In the last 100 days, if someone criticized us, we didn’t mind or take it to heart. Our state is a new state, and when our state turns 25 in 2025, we want it to be the best state in the country. We have asked the departments to prepare a roadmap for this and take action on it.
On the decision to implement Uniform Civil Code, he said that there was discussion that some people are going to write to me that why we are bringing UCC law. He said, ‘I said that before taking a decision on UCC, we went to the court of respected people of Uttarakhand. On February 12, we had resolved that as soon as the new government is formed, we will bring a common law for all. This is because Uttarakhand is Dev Bhoomi and is surrounded by two international borders.
